What I value
As human beings, we continuously demand and take from the universe. In order to keep balance, we ought to give back. But beyond simply giving back to achieve balance, there is an indescribable and immense satisfaction in giving without expecting anything back in return. As a firm believer in this, I genuinely enjoy helping others.
What I have done about it
In the past I am grateful to have been able to volunteer in different shapes and forms. In some, volunteering involved physical efforts, while in others, it was more about time, resources and intellectual efforts. I certainly have always valued such experiences and am determined to keep an oath to myself to dedicate time to it. Because after all, I evaluate my success by how much value I add to my surroundings.
My way forward
Besides just the volunteering activities which I intend to engage in, I look forward to volunteering opportunities which represent themselves to me and will gladly respond to volunteering requests according to the situation at the time.
